I was down at the Google office in Boulder on Thursday, and Scott Green who is the Site Director was kind enough to sit down with me for a few minutes and answer some questions about what’s happened since Google acquired @Last Software and Sketchup in early 2006.
In the podcast, Scott explains that the Boulder office not only works on Sketchup and the 3D Warehouse, but also on Google Docs (they helped port Writely into Google Docs) as well as some of the Google platform core infrastructure. So Google has evolved the Boulder office beyond just Sketchup.
And of course, they now have lava lamps, ping pong, and a rock wall.
