I woke up this morning and listened to the Kiva bedcast. I’d heard about Kiva before, but getting it from the horse’s mouth made me want to get involved.
I figured I’d start small and see how Kiva works. Here’s my portfolio of microloans.

Good for you David! Funny coincidence. I just started my Kiva portfolio a couple of weeks ago and am excited to see how the whole process works. The first surprising element thus far was how quickly my borrowers raised all of their money. The longest funding period was less than 48 hours which goes to show how many people are willing to help out these budding entrepreneurs!
