Yesterday, we announced that Techstars is expanding to New York City.
Since this is my personal blog, I won’t repeat all the details of that here (there are some links below if you want to learn more about it), but I wanted to let everyone know that I’ll be temporarily relocating to NYC from early January to mid April 2011, along with my family. I’ll be back in Boulder frequently during that time, but based in NYC. This move is just temporary, with the single intention of helping to making the initial New York program as awesome as it can be. My wife and I love Boulder and have no plans to move away permanently. We could not be happier here. That said, we’ve viewing this as a nice life opportunity – we wouldn’t be able to do something like this in a few years, but we can do it now, so we are!
If you’re in NYC, please reach out. We’d love to get to know some more people there, especially those with young kids. We’re looking for rental places now, but will most likely land in the West Village or the Upper West Side.
