I’ve been listening to Startup Story Radio on my iPhone for a few months now. The host, Rob McNealy, asked me to come on the show yesterday and talk a little bit about about Techstars. Just in case you weren’t listening to AM talk radio on Saturday, I’ve embedded the discussion below. If you have lots of patience for this kind of drivel, the founder and CEO of Hawaiian Tropic is on after me and he’s a pretty interesting character who talks about mixing sunscreen in a garbage can before selling out for $200M.
Just can’t get enough? Rob’s other scintillating interviews on Startup Story Radio are varied and clever. Some of my favorites are:
- The one in which Brad Feld answers fascinating existential questions such as “What is a venture capitalist?” and “How do I impress one of you people, anyway?”
- The one with Dave Taylor who pimps Wicked Cool Shell Scripts and fondly remembers 1999.
- The one with the guy who makes the automatic self-closing toilet seats. I am not kidding you.
