Bring Xconomy to Boulder

Xconomy is seeking to open a news bureau in the Boulder/Denver region to spotlight local emerging innovation clusters, raise visibility, and help build the innovation ecosystem through their events. They would cover emerging companies, trends, players, and investments in Denver and Boulder.

Having Xconomy here would really enhance our startup community, but in order for it to happen they need to raise $50,000 so they can hire a full time writer to cover the area. As a member of our local startup community, you can help them with their launch and get a great advertising package at the same time. They’re offering two different levels of Xconomy Boulder/Denver Startup Memberships–starting at just $1,000–that provide members with branding on their site, email newsletters and RSS feeds, invitations to their events, and more. Here’s a link with all the details:

At this point they’re almost halfway to reaching their goal, with $23,500 raised. Thanks so much to all of these companies that have already signed up: Application ExpertsFoundry Group, FullContact, GoSpotCheck, Gnip, Linksmart, Orbotix, PaySimple, PivotDesk, Precog, Rally Software, SendGrid, Simple Energy, SnapEngage, Standing Cloud, Swiftpage, Sympoz, and Techstars.

Please consider joining us by participating at whatever level makes sense for you. Click here to learn more and to sign up. A Startup Membership could provide you with continuous online exposure to Xconomy’s audience of entrepreneurs, CEOs, and investors, plus opportunities to attend events where you can meet with them in person. Xconomy will only ask for payments once they have reached their target of $50,000 and are able to launch. If that doesn’t happen, they won’t come, and you won’t owe a thing. But let’s hope enough of us are able to participate so we can pull this off. It’s a great chance to help strengthen our local innovation ecosystem while also helping promote your business!
